Partnering with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS)
Partnering with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) enables us reach into a wider geographical area including rural and coastal populations, increasing access to poineering commercial clinical research.
This partnership helps us bring studies to people rather than expecting people to travel to hospital sites. SCAS has invested in dedicated Research Rapid Response Vehicles (R‑RRVs). Staffed by trained research clinicians, these vehicles enable clinical trial delivery in community settings.
Working together in this way helps us deliver high‑quality research that improves patient care and reflects the diverse populations in the south of England.
